This blog is especially for Dutch musicians and music students living in The Netherlands. I will give you four reasons why it’s important to make time to attend concerts.
There are two ways to enjoy a live music concert these days. One is through personal experience and the second one is through social media. In this blog I will tell you why and when I go Live on FaceBook. Recently DesiYUP received some questions or rather feedback about the events that we cover Live. I cherry-pick the events where we go Live and here you read what motivates me to cover an event with my iPhone.
Today it’s a special day for me. 21st of June is marked by the United Nations as the International Day of Yoga. And today it’s also World Music Day! On this special occasion I like to share with you my personal experience with Nada Yoga. Which means Yoga of sacred sounds. The most common word to describe sacred sounds is Mantra. A mantra can be a word, a phrase, a syllable or even sounds associated with nature. It’s this form of Yoga that helps me to find peace and solitude in the city.
