Through it, she has made her mark on the world of Indian classical music. Her music transcends boundaries and effortlessly bridges tradition and innovation. With her inspiring performances, she captivates audiences worldwide, from India to Europe and the Middle East to the United States. Time and again, she moves and inspires music lovers with her artistry.
She is accompanied by tabla player Gurdain Singh Rayatt, who gave a sold-out concert at the Concertgebouw alongside sarod maestro Shoumik Datta two years ago.
Maithili Thakur

For the first time in the Netherlands, Maithili Thakur, one of India’s most influential Gen-Z vocal icons and internationally recognized, will perform for her exceptional contribution to Indian folk (Uttar Pradesh/Bihar region), devotional, and classical music. With a powerful digital presence and a rapidly growing global audience, she has become one of the most important contemporary cultural voices preserving India’s rich musical heritage and making it popular among younger generations. She has already shared the stage with legendary greats such as Shankar Mahadevan. Through her music, Maithili connects with listeners around the world.
