It was a day to remember. Music lovers, aspiring musicians and even professional musicians filled the stage at Grounds (SKVR) to attend the masterclass of the masterful musician Shammi Pithia and his band members Suroj Sureshbabu and Michael Goodey.
He broke down the way he perceives music and how he composes his work. Then he and his band members explained the way they rearrange his musical compositions. But the best part was where everyone that brought an instrument was able to join Shammi to create a work of art right there and then. This was a masterclass to remember and inspire people to be original and better their skills.
Here are some impressions of the masterclass.

It was absolutely wonderful! Great to get an insight in the mind of a great composer like Shammi.
How is a musical composition by Shammi Pithia created? How important are sound and emotion, and how they are they intertwined? The masterclass by Shammi Pithia and his excellent band members Suroj Sureshbabu and Michael Goodey was a great way of getting to know them and the way they work together. Their interaction was beautiful to watch. It only made me more curious about the concert the next day. And then there was the musical magic of all the participants coming together to create something. To sum up: a succesful masterclass!
