Hindoes in de Media

‘Hindus in the Media’ was a special kind of event. It was for the first time that Hindus living in the Netherlands spoke with Dutch journalists about their representation in the media.

This event highlighted dialogue sessions discussing various topics such as faith, history, biased language, narrative around Indian politics etc. The aim was to share personal experiences with the press and to inform them about topics that matter to the Hindu community. The event was successful and made an impact thanks to the keynote speakers and moderators.

A follow up event will be organized very soon. DesiYUP will be in talks with the Hindu Council in the Netherlands and continue to address the importance of balanced representation.
