Concert: Maati Baani in De Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague

Maati Baani founders Kartik Shah and Nirali Kartik performed for the first time in The Netherlands with their World Music Band in 2016. Maati Baani (meaning: language of the Earth) have created a unique platform to collaborate with musicians from different parts of the world. On the 21st of October 2016 they performed at de Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague for the Holland India Music Festival. 

In a fantastic atmosphere the audience experienced the new sound of Indian folk Music. The Dutch artists Jesse Faber and Bart de Kater also featured in the music video of Maati Baani ‘Jao Piya’ and this song was performed live. Together with Sarnami-Hindustani musicians Sandeep Badloe and Soeredj Sewlal Maati Baani performed a traditional Bhaitak Ghana song ‘Kaun Phoelwa’ and folk musician Mooralalla Marwada surprised everyone with him captivating voice!
