About The Artists
Prewien
Prewien Pandohi-Mishre is a singer/ composer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Specialized in Indian Classical music and spiritual meditative music, Prewien has founded Rasique Music School in 2011 where he teaches Indian vocal music to children, beginners and semi-professionals. His music is rooted in the traditional Indian genres, but also touches contemporary styles. With his sonorous earthy voice and warm personality he is able to win the hearts of the audience.
He moved from Suriname (South America) to Rotterdam when he was 11 years old. Here he got introduced to spiritual singing while visiting local Hindu temples. He learned Indian vocal music from the local music school SKVR and he completed his Master’s degree in Indian Classical Music from CODARTS University of Music in 2019.
Prewien has collaborated with international artists: Filter Coffee, Aks & Lakshmi, Vasuda Sharma and Nirali Kartik. His most recent theater performances are: Holland-India Music Festival, Pancha Tattva, Sacred Songs Festival, Festival Muses of Mindfulness and Yoga Nidra.
After his Codarts Master degree Prewien received media attention from national Dutch broadcasts. In December 2019 he performed for VPRO ‘Vrije Geluiden’ followed by a short-documentary filmed by NTR, ’Iedereen Verlicht’. Prewien’s mission is to create awareness about the vibrant Indian Classical music scene in the Netherlands.
Danielle
Daniële chose the beautiful sounds of the Celtic harp and decided to make music that came from her heart. With her music she creates a field of light, love and transparency, a bridge between heaven and earth. These healing sounds are used in many different ways. In addition, she has supplemented her way of giving haptotherapy with voice expression and the heart-opening sounds of the harp.
