Gita Desai, a resident of Los Angeles, has devoted the past 14 years of her life in creating the three most comprehensive documentary series to date on the profound Indian traditions of Yoga, Ayurveda and Raga Music. She worked on making Raga Unveiled from 2005 to 2009. Gita’s single-minded vision is to bring these powerful ancient sciences to as many people around the world, while keeping their spiritual essence intact. At the core is her ambition to transform the viewers at the deepest level through a fully immersive experience. Nothing less, nothing more!
Please note that the screening token is only available on www.ragaunveiled.com. The token is valid for 48 hours from Friday 26 February till Sunday 28 February 2021 to watch the documentary Raga Unveiled (2009) and also attend the Live Stream Q&A on Sunday 28 February 2021 at 16.00hrs CET.
During the the Live Stream Q&A the director Gita Desai, Sitar player Purbayan Chatterjee and Vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty will be interviewed live by Dutch Vocalist Prewien Pandohi-Mishre. The topics discussed will be the connection of Indian Classical Music and Spirituality, The importance of keeping this 4000 year old tradition alive and how to keep this music tradition relevant in today’s time. Sadhguru will share his wisdom on India’s music heritage.

No, everybody with a token can watch the documentary and attend the Live Stream
Is it a paid digital event?
Yes, you have 2 types of token option.
€ 7,99 for the 2 hours and 10 minutes version and
€ 10.99 for the 4 hours and 20 minutes version.
Why do I need to pay to attend this digital event?
The film is a self funded. You pay the film maker for her hard work and the artists for their time/craft/knowledge.
Are there different versions of the documentary?
Yes. There are two versions of the documentary.
There is an extended version of the documentary that is 4 hours and 20 minutes and there is a shorter version of 2 hours and 10 minutes.
What is the difference between the different versions of the documentary?
The 4:20 hour (long) version of the documentary has more in depth information with a more broad musical exposé and longer interviews.
The 2:10 hour version is the same documentary but more summerized.
When is the documentary viewable online?
The documentary is viewable online from the February 26th at 15:00 hours GMT. (16:00 in Amsterdam), until February 28th at 15:00 hours GMT (16:00 in Amsterdam).
Is there a way for me to own a permanent token?
Yes. If you wish the watch the documentary at anytime before or after the February 28th online event, you can buy a permanent token that you can use any time.

Can I only attend the Live Stream?
No, the documentary screening + Live Stream is a package deal.
Can I take breaks while watching the documentary?
Yes, you have 48 hours to watch the documentary prior to the Live Stream on the 28th of Feb. Take as many breaks as you like.
Is it allowed to eat popcorn while attending the Live Stream?
Yes, eat whatever your heart desires. In the YouTube chat field you can interact with the musicians.
Can I watch the documentary on my television screen?
Yes, you can watch the film on your television screen with your internet connection, otherwise you can use a HDMI cable to connect your laptop with your television screen.
