Netherlands Trade Mission to India Kick off with Minister Cora Van Nieuwenhuizen

Mumbai: Minister of Infrastructure & Water Management Cora van Nieuwenhuizen gave a kick-off speech and inaugurated the Indo-Dutch Forum on Smart & Sustainable Port-led Development Wednesday 23rd of May in Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai. Dutch businesses are keen to increase their relationship with the Indian industry, in particularly with the port sector in India. Consul General Mumbai Guido Tielman emphasized that this trade mission is the largest Indo-Dutch trade mission so far in his opening speech.

Prime minister Mark Rutte, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Sigrid Kaag, Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Carola Schouten, Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Cora van Nieuwenhuizen and Minister for Healthcare and Sport Bruno Bruins will travel to India from 23 to 25 May 2018 on a working visit and trade mission. Mr Rutte will meet with Indian prime minister Narendra Modi to discuss the strategic relationship between the Netherlands and India and the scope for deepening political and economic cooperation.
