“This life is difficult and to stick on the righteous part is a challenge. The truth is that we have so may problems in life and I’m certainly not different than any other person”, says bhajan diva Shivali in her very intimate interview with DesiYUP.
It’s been 5 month’s now since Shivali has done her bhajan concert in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The atmosphere was amazing and people enjoyed each and every song. During this satsang concert I realised that a concert can only be a success when the audience connects with the artist, and that’s exactly what happened!
It’s been two years now that I know Shivali. I heard her music video ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ on YouTube and decided to follow her on Twitter. Together we worked on a documentary for the Dutch broadcast station and organised an concert in Rotterdam. And before we knew we where friends and to meet friends especially when they live abroad it’s always very special.
Shammi Pithia is one of the artist that I’m meeting during my stay in London. He is a great creative composer living in London. His vision of what can be done with different sounds of different instruments is worth listening to. His music can be defined as unique audial fine art. One can only understand it once they listen to it.
