Mumbai, May 21, 2018: Holland based company – DesiYUP’s Artist Meet in JW Marriott Mumbai was graced by talented Indian musicians and singers. Indian music and ragas are not only appreciated, but also soulfully enjoyed in most foreign countries and Holland is no exception. But what’s different in Holland is the beautiful amalgamation of singers, musicians and artists that people get to witness and cherish their art, thanks to DesiYUP.
For those appreciating spiritual music, Nirali Kartik (Mumbai, India) gave an Indian Classical Singing workshop at the theater De Vaillant in The Hague.
She also Jammed with Ganesh Ramnath as a preparation for her concert on the Dec 9th 2016.
As a student of Indian Classical Music, I have been to Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia’s Vrindavan Gurukul (school) in the past for many- a- times, just to listen to his music and to imbibe whatever I can from his divine playing. But this time my purpose to visit Vrindavan Gurukul was different! I was interviewing a musician for the first time ever and that too of Panditji’s calibre!
Nirali Kartik publishes her latest song: Abhang – Bolava Vitthala.
In Marathi Language “Vithh” means a brick – the one who stood on a brick came to be known as “Vitthala”.
Nirali Kartik is interviewed by a Dutch (music) magazine: Kunstzone about world music group Maatibaani. The lead for this interview was her outstanding performance at ‘Vrije Geluiden’ a well known music program.
