In November 2019 I was invited to a Bollywood program at the Concert Gebouw. To mentally prepare myself for an evening of music & mingling I decided to drink tea at the Amstel Hotel. It’s no secret that lovely places make me zen! While sipping my perfect hot cup of Earl Grey tea I read an email that can be compared with winning a million euro lottery.
The Netherlands Trade Mission to India organized by RVO and leaded by VNO-NCW chairman Hoes de Boer was a successful event for us. DesiYUP got the opportunity to expand our artist network and we connected with Dutch and Indian SME’s, ministers and policymakers.
Mumbai: Minister of Infrastructure & Water Management Cora van Nieuwenhuizen gave a kick-off speech and inaugurated the Indo-Dutch Forum on Smart & Sustainable Port-led Development Wednesday 23rd of May in Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai. Dutch businesses are keen to increase their relationship with the Indian industry, in particularly with the port sector in India. Consul General Mumbai Guido Tielman emphasized that this trade mission is the largest Indo-Dutch trade mission so far in his opening speech.

Come September 7th, Holland will witness a tribute to the best romantic classics of the Hindi cinema. This musical evening will witness the one-woman band Vasuda Sharma share the stage with British singer-songwriter and entertainer Navin Kundra. Cabaretier and comedian Rayen Panday will also make a guest appearance in the show.
